01 A typing app I made to help me get faster on my split keyboard — tracks speed and accuracy per keystroke.
02 A real-time digital detective board for Sherlock Consultants Board Game — with suspect faces, location tracking, connection mapping, and post-it notes.
03 A website redesign for a legendary pizzeria from my hometown — modernizing their online presence.
Sole frontend developer on a custom CMS for a casino and sportsbetting platform. I built new business features, led design and UX decisions, drove a full visual overhaul, and introduced a recursive nested data structure to support complex feature configurations. I also actively engaged in conversations around new feature requests to help find solutions with the least amount of complexity. Fun fact: my team and I also won the company hackathon!
Took part in a major technical overhaul of the frontend, helping remove Redux and complex app state in favor of a leaner setup built around React Query and React Hook Form. Alongside that, I contributed to building and maintaining new features as part of the day-to-day work. It was an amazing learning experience, getting to see talented developers tackle problems first hand.
Worked as a UX/UI designer on a risk and threat management platform, where my main focus was simplifying the visualization of complex, high-volume data. I created mockups in Figma, conducted user interviews to gather qualitative insights, and picked up AngularJS on the frontend side as part of the internship.
Kitchen assistant during evening service at Pingvin, a high-end premium tapas restaurant. While not a tech role, I think it's worth mentioning. It taught me to handle responsibilities under high pressure, solve issues on the fly, and always be ready to jump in and help the rest of the team.
I'm Samuel, a web developer based in Denmark. I focus on building interfaces that are clean, responsive, and thoughtful in how they handle interaction and layout. My main work is on the frontend, but I regularly work across the stack. I set up APIs, work with databases, and handle deployment pipelines when the project calls for it. I prefer understanding the full picture over staying in one layer. When I'm not working, I'm usually playing video games, training at the gym, or cooking.
